Book for our rafting tour on the Chili River in Arequipa, enjoy this adventure on the Chili River which crosses the city of Arequipa. The origin of the Chili River is due to the union of both Zumba and Blanco rivers, it is 121.7 km long and it has Class II to IV rapids.

We will pick you up from your hotel—applies only for hotels located in the historic center; otherwise, we will coordinate another meeting place according to your convenience.
Transfer from Arequipa to Charcani
You will depart by bus from Arequipa city towards the small town of Charcani located in the Chilina Valley, this bus ride lasts approx. 25 minutes.
Charcani — start of Rafting activity
At this place your Guide will provide you with all the river rafting equipment, after that your Guide will give you all the instructions about this adventure to finally start the activity. This experience lasts approx. 45 minutes along the Chilli river, you will paddle approx. 6 kilometers, there will be rapids from Class II to IV.
Return transfer to Arequipa
The transfer back to Arequipa lasts about 30 minutes.
Tour Ending Place
This excursion ends in the historic center of Arequipa city, three blocks away from the main square. This tour doesn’t end at your hotel unless you book a private tour.

Group tours:

- Your pick-up time will depend on your hotel location.
- If you are out of the historic center, we’ll arrange a meeting point.
- If it’s hard for the vehicle to make it to your hotel, we’ll arrange a meeting point.
- We don’t do pick-ups if there are festivals, strikes and car trafic.
- We’ll arrange all pick-ups and meeting points one day prior your tour.
Private tours:
- Pick-ups are sharp on time.
- Pick-ups apply for all Arequipa city.
- We’ll arrange all pick-ups one day prior your tour.
- The tour ending time is still aprox; but, we’ll do our best to finish the tour as scheduled.
Vehicle type and seats
Vehicles:
- Authorized by the Ministry of Transportation of Peru.
- Clean and modern ones.
- Sedan looking auto, 4×4, H1, Van, Renault and Mercedez Benz (it will depend on the group size).
Seats – group tours:
- You reserve a seat in the bus, not a specific number of seat.
- If you get picked-up first, then you can choose some seats (your pick-up time will depend on your hotel location).
- Couples seat together to 95%; however, we can’t warranty this will happen to 100%.
Operability and itinerary
